Dr. Ronald Ingleton graduated from St Andrew Technical High School in 1966. Founding member of the Staths Trust. He is the Chairman of the Staths Trust 5k Run/Walk Committee. He was instrumental in the reconstruction of the Play Field. The primary spokesperson in activating a well on the Staths premises. Continue to support students with individual scholarship programmes both locally and overseas. Part of the group that hosted the Track and Field team to Penn Relays after a 15-year absence.
As a graduate of St Andrew Technical High School, he was recruited by the then Alcan Jamaica Limited in their special projects department. He was awarded a scholarship by Alcan to pursue Structural Engineering at CAST (now UTech) and furthered his Industrial Relations studies at UWI.
In 1982, as his peers affectionately call him, he migrated to the United States, where he worked as an Industrial Relations Consultant. He received his Doctorate in Homeopathy/Core Education at the Institute of Transformational Studies and then maintained a practice in New Jersey until his retirement.
Over the years, Dr. Ron has been a go-to-person, spokesperson, and presenter at several local and international forums with a strong knowledge and opinion of Jamaicans’ issues in the diaspora. Since its inception, he has attended and supported all the Jamaica Diaspora Movement forums and conferences in Jamaica and the USA. He served as the Alternate Diaspora Representative for the NE USA.
He was a former Director on the board of The Union of Jamaica Alumni Association (UJAA) former president for his alumni association St. Andrew Technical Alumni Association NE Chapter. Presently, Dr. Ron is retired.
